Tyler Phelps (12th grade) – Son of Tom & Michelle Phelps of Breitung Township.

Participates in:
A well-rounded student-athlete, Tyler competes in cross country, ski racing, and track, and maintains academic excellence as a member of the National Honor Society (NHS). Dedicated to community service, Tyler volunteers at the local food pantry and serves and organizes events at his church.

Why he was nominated:
Tyler Phelps is a great example of an engaged and positive learner. He consistently participates in class and asks thoughtful questions that deepen his understanding. He collaborates well with classmates and brings a great attitude and sense of humor to class. He is also a great role model for younger students and genuinely shows excitement for learning.
