Ava Cowen is a 7th-grade student at Kingsford Middle School. She is the daughter of Justin and Sarah Cowen of Iron Mountain. 

Ava is an absolutely wonderful young lady. She plays on the middle school basketball team, she plays softball, and she is also on the NLY swim team. Ava also enjoys dance classes, making movies and books, camping, and hiking. She also babysits in her free time.

Ava is a joy to be around. She brightens every room she walks into. She is kind to all of her classmates and staff, she is very helpful, and she is always on the honor roll.
