Road Construction Update for Kingsford Middle School & Kingsford High School
Dear Breitung Township Schools Community:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with an update on the ongoing construction near the Kingsford Middle School and Kingsford High School Campus. I have been in consistent communication with the City of Kingsford Department of Public Works and the company responsible for carrying out the construction, Payne & Dolan, in the Ford Addition.
As of this morning, the plan remains for Hamilton Avenue to be open from Carpenter Avenue to the intersection of Union Avenue and Carpenter Avenue. You will be able to access the KHS/KMS campus from either Hamilton Avenue or from Pyle Drive. Payne & Dolan will have workers present to guide due to the anticipated congestion and high traffic on the first day of school. Please drive carefully and plan for a few extra minutes in possible commute times.
