Band Camp Update - No Band Camp Monday, Aug 3rd

Hello Kingsford High School Band Families:

On Wednesday afternoon, we were notified by the City of Kingsford that, due to ongoing construction in the Ford Addition area, there was a possibility that water service to Kingsford Middle School and Kingsford High School would need to be shut off on Monday, August 3. We were hopeful the outage could be avoided, but Thursday afternoon the City confirmed that the water will, in fact, be turned off on Monday.

Because our buildings will be without running water, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Band Camp for Monday, August 3.

Band Camp will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, August 4, and continue through Friday, August 7. We know this is disappointing news, especially with camp set to begin, but the health and safety of our students and staff must come first.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday and having a great week of Band Camp!
