2026 - BTS End of Year Message

BTS Students, Families, Staff, and Community:

As the 2025-2026 school year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to all our families for allowing us the opportunity to work with your children. We deeply appreciate the trust you place in our staff to educate and guide them throughout the year.

Below are some of our end-of-the-year highlights:

• From STEM Night to exciting field trips across the local region, Woodland students enjoyed a wide array of activities, events, and programs across all grade levels. Safety and students’ well being were emphasized with the main office renovation/relocation and the creation of a new student services area. These experiences not only provided educational value but also helped to foster a sense of community and joy, making the end of the school year truly memorable and successful.

• We hosted the 101st Commencement Ceremony for Kingsford High School at Flivver Field on Memorial Day weekend. 72 of the 139 students in the graduating Class of 2026 have been offered approximately 4.7 million dollars in scholarships.

• We celebrated the 8th-grade promotion at Kingsford Middle School, where a full auditorium cheered on the students as they prepared to move on to Kingsford High School. Each grade level concluded the year with events and activities to celebrate their success and promote a positive school climate.

• Several facility upgrades will take place over the summer, including the renovation of the 2nd Grade pod at WES, upgrade of the HVAC system in the KHS auditorium, and completion of the Filter First initiative across the district.

It's an exciting time to be part of Breitung Township Schools, and we thank you for another amazing year. We look forward to seeing everyone again in the Fall of 2026!
