Friday, May 8 was Draft Day for the Upper Peninsula Construction Council (UPCC)!

We’re proud to share that KHS Senior, Sylvia Sutton, was officially drafted into the Local 7 Sheet Metal Workers Union. She joins 10 other UPCC participants who are taking the next step into rewarding careers in the skilled trades.

This milestone represents the hard work, dedication, and bright futures of these students as they move from training into real-world opportunities. Congratulations to Sylvia and all of this year’s UPCC draftees; we’re excited to see where your paths lead!
