The Kingsford High School Quiz Bowl team finished the year by participating in the Northern Michigan University Spring Quiz Bowl Showdown. Eight schools, 60 students, from around the UP participated in the eight-round, round-robin competition. Two KHS students received prizes for being in the top 10 of all individual scorers: Jack Militante and Clark Robb. KHS had two additional students in the top half of all scorers: Lou Recla and Owen Schafer. The team is coached by Colleen Driscoll.
