Lydia Gardner (8th grade) is the daughter of Chris and Amanda Gardner of Kingsford. 

Lydia is actively involved in track and field, cheer, and cross country. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time at church, swimming, volleyball, watching Chicago Cubs games and spending time with her friends. Her favorite subject is U.S. history, and she is interested in pursuing a career in the field of nursing.

Lydia was selected as Student of the Week because she is kind, respectful, and consistently focused on her work. She uses her time wisely in the classroom and approaches her responsibilities with a positive attitude. Lydia is always wearing a smile and brings a sense of encouragement to those around her. Her teachers appreciate her dedication and strong work ethic, and all agree that she is very deserving of this recognition.
