Student Name Jonathan Ryan (10th grade) - son of Kristy Johnson-Ryan and Adam Ryan of Iron Mountain.

Participates in: KHS Band, KHS Concert Chorale, KHS Chamber Choir, KHS Pep Band, Dickinson County Community Chorus, Dickinson Area Band, and Dickinson County Community Theater. 

Why he was nominated: Jonathan Ryan is a wonderful addition to the classroom. Not only does he work to fully understand and apply content, he goes out of his way to help his peers better understand as well. He loves to read and is constantly working to self-reflect and improve his writing skills. Jonathan is kind, outgoing, and diligent about his work. Enough cannot be said about such a well-rounded student!
