Benjamin Cowen (10th grade) - son of Justin and Sarah Cowen of Iron Mountain.

Participates in: Ben loves playing football. This year he was on JV and played as center. His favorite class is wood shop because he can build and work on projects he likes to do. Ben has over 200 volunteer hours helping at his church, BTS athletics and other organizations.

Why he was nominated: Ben is a standout student recognized for his stellar work ethic, creative problem-solving, and constant willingness to lend a hand. Whether he is mastering a new skill or focusing on a complex project, Ben’s positive energy and helpful nature inspire everyone around him.
