Jason Project is an exploratory course. It is a way for students worldwide to participate and share in Dr. Robert Ballard’s expeditions. This project started after Dr. Ballard discovered the wreck of the Titanic. He received so many inquiries from students that he started these expeditions to share the information with students around the world. Every year. Dr. Ballard and his team of researchers investigate a different area of interest. Students are able to follow the Team around through the Jason Website and through live telecast of expeditions. This year’s investigation is Mysteries of Earth and Mars. The students are able to participate in the scientific process as they try to replicate some of the Jason experiments.
