2013 Holocaust Presentation
Kingsford Middle School would like to thank all students and staff for their participation in the 2013 Holocaust Presentation. We would also like to offer a most special "Thank You" to Mr. Martin Lowenberg who has been coming to speak at the KMS Holocaust program for 10 years.
Over 1500 students and 4000 community members have participated in this program over the years. The students themselves prepared for this presentation by undertaking a month-long study.
We are so very fortunate to be able to share this educational experience with so many students and community members and most expecially, Mr. Lowenberg.
KMS/Woodland Student Council
Leadership Workshop
The 8th grade KMS Student Council leaders planned and conducted a leadership workshop for younger student council representatives from BTS on April 25. The 8th graders led sessions on Cooperation, Leadership, Communication, Trust and Teamwork. The attendees rotated through all five sessions during the four hour workshop. This was the third year KMS has held this successful event.
