The PLAN is given to all Sophomores during the month of October, paid
for by Kingsford High School. This test is designed and produced by ACT.
It is a practice test for the ACT and is a snap-shot for students to see
how they compare with other students their age in the core subject
areas. This is only one measure and should not be a deciding factor on
college readiness. The intent is to given students some input on which
areas they should concentrate more on to improve their scores on the
actual ACT test. The PLAN test results are also used when determining
Dual Enrollment eligibility during students' Junior and Senior years.
