Dear Flivver Open Sponsor,

The Kingsford High School Athletic Booster Club thanks you for your generous support, resulting in very successful previous Flivver Open Golf Tournaments.  As a result of your tremendous participation, generosity, and support for these events we have realized a combined net sum of over $75,000 from our 3 prior events to apply toward Kingsford High School Athletics

We are rapidly progressing with the planning for our upcoming 2008 Flivver Open.  The scheduled date is Friday July 11, 2008.  Please save this date on your calendar.  The date has been shifted up one week to coincide with the All Class Flivver Reunion/Hog Wild event. This is merely a one year change and we should return to our normal third Friday in July for the 2009 and subsequent Flivver Opens. The 2008 golf event will be at TimberStone with a 6 member team format.  Sponsors and team captains may pick their own teams. Singles and less than full team participants will be openly welcomed by the committee and appropriately placed for enthusiastic involvement. Final decisions of the committee involving complications and conflicts will be based on a first to register and pay basis. Following golf, the social time with dinner and prize awards will be at Pine Mountain in the late afternoon and early evening. We are planning for our 2008 Flivver Open to be finished in plenty of time to provide participants the ability to attend evening class reunion functions and the other Hog Wild/All Class Flivver Reunion weekend events.

To keep cost to a minimum, a significant amount of our information will be provided by email to teams and sponsors. Please help us by providing an email address on all correspondence. A committee member will be contacting many of you within the next few months for an email address. Please register your participation early. We will do all we can to avoid any complications. We hope to see you all again in 2008.
