Katherine Erickson, a senior at Kingsford High School, has been notified that she is a recipient of the QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship. The scholarship will cover the full cost of her education at Haverford College, a private college located outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she will be attending in the fall of 2021. This award has an estimated value of $81,554 per year up to 4 years.

Katherine has dedicated herself to achieving academic and personal excellence. She has maintained a 4.0+ G.P.A. while taking Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses throughout her high school career. She has an extensive resume of extracurricular activities which include the 4-H Shooting Sports, 4-H State Youth Leadership Council, Student Council, National Honor Society, Volleyball, Soccer, and the KHS High School Band. She has also committed herself to giving back to her community through volunteering at her local churches, 4-H, and other school related activities.
