The family of Taylor Bosley has established a scholarship to honor her memory and remember the special person that brought such a beautiful smile everywhere she went and shared with all those she encountered.

Taylor Bosley

Taylor not only enjoyed following KHS sports, but she was a familiar, smiling face selling tickets at many KHS sporting events throughout her middle school and high school years. Her artistic nature and passion were evident in the beautiful drawings and artwork that she shared with her classmates in Mrs. Westernís Art and Photography classes.

People not only learned from and with Taylor throughout her life, people learned from her just by being around her and her kind, caring disposition and love for life. She touched many friends and classmates and her compassion will live on through the wonderful things she shared with the world. She holds a special place in the hearts of many that are grateful for the time she so willingly gave to her family and friends.

The Taylor Bosley Memorial Scholarship will be awarded this May, to a Kingsford High School graduate in the Class of 2018. Applicants must have a minimum, cumulative GPA of 2.5, and be furthering their education at an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, or technical school.

In addition, alumni from the Kingsford High School Class of 1986 have established a scholarship fund and are developing a scholarship to honor Taylorís memory, and in support of their classmate and Taylorís mom, Lisa (Paupore) Bosley.

The Board of Education of Breitung Township Schools and the administration of Kingsford High School are pleased to accept the opportunity to coordinate such heartfelt scholarships. Individuals interested in donating to the Taylor Bosley Memorial Scholarships can contact Rita Edberg, Scholarship Coordinator/KHS, or Lyle Smithson, Principal, 431 Hamilton Ave. Kingsford, MI 49802 or by calling 779-2670, ext.5, for more information.
