Students will be assessed according to the 91 Content Expectations for English Language Arts. All assessments will list the C.E.(s) addressed by that particular task. Some days will not include an assessment, so no C.E.'s will be included in the lesson plans. Please see the English 9 or English 10 syllabus and letter located on my homepage for more information regarding the Michigan Merit Curriculum.

Please Note: In the case of inclement weather all daily scheduled lessons plans will be postponed one day, unless discussed otherwise in class.
Day English 9 English 10
Students will receive a vocabulary assignment that is due on Wednesday at the beginning of the hour. Students will work on this assignment today in class.

Students will continue reading the selected chapters from "The Things They Carried."

Students will continue the vocabulary exercise from Monday.

 

 

Students will receive the writing assignments related to the chapters of the novel.

Vocabulary assignments due. Students will spend the hour preparing for their final exam. 

Students will continue writing their responses to the previous days' focus questions.

Due at the end of the hour.
