AP Programming course that KHS offers is an elective course that
students can take. The course is highly recommended for students who
show an interest in computer programming and plan on pursuing a
degree in computer science. This Advanced Placement course teaches
the JAVA language and offers students the option of taking the AP
test at the end of the year. The AP exam is based on a 1-5 scale and
most students who attain a 4 or 5 can possibly attain credit from
the university they decide on attending. JAVA is one of the most
popular programming language used in computers today and is
especially popular with web pages.
