began teaching at Kingsford in the fall of 1994. I am a 1985 KHS
Alumnus and attained my BS degree in Secondary Education from
Northern Michigan University in the Spring of 1992 while majoring in
Mathematics and minoring in Computer Science. I finished my Masters
degree in Education from Viterbo University in July of 2006.
After college, I joined the US Peace Corps and served 9 months of
a 2 year assignment in Papua New Guinea before breaking my ankle. I
was medevacked to Hawaii where I had surgery and spent a week in
recovery. The operation required me to end my service in the Peace
Corps.
I
have been married to my loving wife Angela since March of 1999. We
have four children: Kellen, Emma, Abigail, and Liam. My wife is an
accountant for Cable Constructors Inc. in Iron Mountain.
I am considered a computer geek by close friends and family. I like
to play guitar and sing for my wife. I enjoy listening to my iPod
when grading papers and relaxing. I referee volleyball and football.
I enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning. My favorite musical
group is The Beatles.
