Monday

Monday

Tuesday

Objective:  Students will take the chapter 22-24 test.

Wednesday

Objective:  Students will review for the final exam.

Objective:  Students will review for the final exam.

GOVERNMENT 10  

Monday

Objective:   Students will attend the awards assembly.
Tuesday Objective:   Students will state the purpose of foreign aid, explain why the United States maintains a network of regional security alliances, explain why the United Nations was created, and describe the UN's purposes, organization, and membership.  Chapter 17, Section 5 covering pages 447-453.  Answer questions on page 453 and complete the review sheet.  Review on Monday--20 flashcards and the last notebook check.

Wednesday

Objective:   Students will review for the Chapter 17 test.

Thursday

Objective:  Students will review for the final exam.

Friday

Objective:  Students will review for the final exam.

Language Arts for English Language Learners  

Monday

Objective:  Group 1.  Students will work on responding to literature, compare cause and effect and work on future perfect tense verbs

Group 2:  Student will discuss adverbs that compare and count and noncount nouns.

Tuesday Group 1:  Students will work on using logical order in various writing forms and complete "Using Maps" applying latitude and longitude.

Group 2:  Student will work on adverbs and then use a venn diagram to make comparisons between and earthquake and a flood.

Wednesday

Group 1:  Students will take the test on "The Circuit".

Group 2: Student will take the test on "Earthquake at Dawn". 

Thursday

Group 1:  Students will read "Mother to Son" and focus on the vocabulary words and degrees of meaning.

Group 2: Students will be introduced to "When Disaster Strikes" covering pages 242-249. Complete pp. 124 and 125 in the Practice Book on adjectives, adverbs, and prepositions and using the new vocabulary words in context.

Friday

Group 1:  Students will work on onomatopoeia. in the Practice Book--p. 169 and characterization land setting.

Group 2: Student will work on adverbs that compare and count and noncount nouns on pp. 126 and 127 of the Practice Book.
