Advanced Biology is a difficult course, but that doesn't it
has to be a drag. We work hard, but for some reason, we
seem to enjoy it.

Sarah and Brian take their first tentative
excursions into the world of vertebrate anatomy
and physiology. They learn that 'dissect' means
"to expose to view" . . .
This is just one example of the "wild" experiences students have in
Advanced Biology. Throughout the year, they will have the
opportunity to engage in many hands-on, field-oriented activities
which will give them only a glimpse into the endless and
fascinating world of biology. Hopefully, these activities help to
assuage the pain of some of the more difficult studies we
engage in (photosynthesis and cell energetics being the two most
often cited by Advanced students). But as grueling as some of
the experiences may be, most students come away from it with a
sense of satisfaction and achievement unlike any they've ever
had.
Take a chance...take a
walk on the wild
side!
