ADVANCED BIOLOGY - 1 Credit - Pre-requisites: Successful completion of General Biology & Chemistry (no concurrent enrollment)
Students will examine the basic concepts of biology in
greater depth than is afforded in General Biology. Students will
learn to seek solutions through the use of the scientific method, examine
past and present-day issues in biology, and hopefully, develop a conscientious
understanding of our role as humans in the world. These studies will
provide the student with concepts, knowledge, and analytic skills necessary to
function in the rapidly changing world of biology.
