Welcome!

KHS-O is now up and running! We decided not to hold officer positions, as that limits the number of people that can claim a leadership role. Rather, we have several committees and a system for submitting new volunteer projects... anyone can propose a new project idea! Once the project is approved, the designer has the option of either leading the committee on it's development or simply making the idea available for someone else to grab hold of. So... that means you can be a leader, you can be a follower, or you can pick and chose between the two as you feel fit.

Our Mission
The Mission of KHS-O is to create a connection between area citizens in need of a helping hand and Kingsford High School students looking to volunteer their time to help their local community. In addition to creating a vehicle for communication, the design of this group allows for individual students to assume leadership roles by creating and implementing their own unique volunteer activity projects.

Those that signed up to plant trees, meet Mrs. Beth Tappy on Sunday, May 4th at 1:00 P.M. at the Kingsford High School Tennis Courts. Those who would still like to participate can still sign up.
