MICHIGAN VIRTUAL HIGH SCHOOL
BY APPLICATION ONLY
˝ credit
per semester – 11 and 12th grade only
Students are able to take classes on the web via
Michigan Virtual High School (MVHS). The MVHS course must be
the student’s seventh class on their schedule and the course
cannot already be offered at Kingsford High School. There is
an online test called OLOT that must be passed in order to
qualify for online courses. See the guidance office for more
information. You may also go online to
www.mivhs.org
to get course descriptions. Students interested in taking an
online class during 2005-2006 must see a school counselor
for the listing of courses available and the registration
materials. Grades are awarded and calculated in the GPA
based on our grading scale.
**If a student signs up for a MVHS
course, he/she must pass the course in order for the school
to pay the tuition. This is the same expectation as Dual
Enrollment courses.
