French III continues the study of grammar and attempts to
expand the vocabulary. Much work is done to promote oral

vocabulary. Emphasis is also placed on pronunciation,
inflection, and intonation. Since there is a wealth of
French drama, short story, and novel, several selections
will be studied throughout the year. Units of French
history, geography, current events, and famous personalities
round out the third year of this foreign language study.
